LEIF S. JACOBSEN (born 1946 in Fredrikstad) is a Norwegian theologian, preacher and author. He is educated as a Methodist minister at The Theological Seminary for the Nordic Countries, Øverås, and has been active in both the United Methodist Church, the Pentecostal movement and the Faith Movement. He holds a Can. Mag. degree (Christianity, Hebrew and Information Science) from the University of Bergen and a practical – theological doctorate, D. Min. (Leadership and Church Planting) from Fuller Theological Seminary and Regent University. He has been a pastor since 1969.

He has also worked in the IT industry as Systems Analyst and IT-manager. For several years he has been a member of the translators’ committee for Bibelforlaget’s The Bible – God’s Word. In particular, he has immersed himself in the Bible’s teaching about the end times, the return of Jesus’  and Israel.

Both in his studies and in practice, he has been interested in leadership, which he also has experience from, both in church contexts and from his years as an IT manager.

Leif is now retired but travels as a preacher and Bible teacher in Norway and abroad. He is a regular preacher in the movement Ordet & Israel.
